Re: [SANS] The deep south

Dear Francis, so good to hear from you. My poor San. took it real hard this
year,
I lost many to the wet rain (30) when will I learn. I hope to be able to
replace them
all. I cry for them.

The seeds that Mr. Eby of Hawaii gave me, I sent on to the Huntington, of
course,
all germaniated, and are about 3" at this time. John Trager has me busy
potting
them up to their first size container, 250 in all, what a crop.

I have been in Wellington and stayed at the hotel right across from the
University, it
was lovely, we have been theri twice to your country, and I marvel at its
beauty.

Hello group, I did feed the San. and put them out side, I think what didn't
die will
make it. All the species survived, except one, 'Forscate' dead 'Hendrica'
dead
S. brunsii dead and many more. I have many extra of the species, and don't
know
what they are or what to do with them. I hope to send some to Cleton who is
on
our list, but must wait until July to do so. If any of you would like to send
him some
here is his address: Piet Cleton

make sure there are not roots, they must be clean as a whistle
