Sans trif 'Loop's Pride'

I acquired an offshoot of Loop's Pride a couple of months ago.  When it arrived its leaves were glossy, now the leaves have lost their gloss.  Am I doing anything wrong?  Does this plant need humidity or something?  Can someone tell me how to keep this plant?  It's being kept on a windowsill in the conservatory at the moment.  Is it getting too much sun, not enough sun?  I'd also like to know if anyone knows where can I buy Sansevierias in the UK.  I know of Brookside Nursery but is there anywhere else?  I'd love to buy some Sans from the U.S. (so much variety) but with import restrictions on plants to the UK, it makes it extremely expensive and impossible really.
