Hi everyone,
I have been having problems with my mail for the last few days so
could not post to the list.
George S. horwoodii should really still be called sp. FKH 424. As it
has not been described according to the rules of the Code. A Latin
name can only be given when when the plant has been described
according to the code.
David Grigsby published an article in the Cactus & Succ. Journal US.
Vol. 60 Pg. 251 and just called it S. horwoodii. This generated the
incorrect naming of FKH424. He also described it as a cultivar and
says it is related to S. abyssinica ????
Further to add to the confusion Abbey Garden put the name
Sansevieria sp. AKH 424 probably a typo but it can still cause
confusion.
