Dear Stephan
I would not call the forming of yellow or green sprouts
in Forescate a case of mutation Thes are just sports due to chimeral
rearrangments.
In case this has not been handled before on this list:
definition for SPORT: a shoot deviating from the mother plant
A sport can be due to :
1 chimeral rearrangement ( most of the time)
2. mitotic/ somatic recombination
3. rarely, a mutation
4. a few other rare causes.
