Hello everyone

I know I have been very quiet lately - but I have been following the
discussions - and the banter - with great interest and amusement. Thank you
Steve for the list of references. There are also several article
references (eg a couple in the British Journal recently) which could be
added.

Now, the reason for my writing after such a long silence, is: Ted went to a
committee meeting of our local branch last night, came home, and said "you
are giving a talk on Sansevierias next April". I said [expletive deleted],
and we went to see what we had for reference. We have Juan's book,
Hermine's book, and the Australian book, plus a couple of Sansevieria
Journals, and the aforesaid articles in the British Journal. Plus whatever
I can find in the US Journal (of which I have a complete set). However, I
may in the next few months, call upon this small but merry band to give me
assistance. I have in mind to publish an article on whatever we come up
with in our Journal.
Today I searched the net and got 500+ hits. One I printed out was
"Sansevieria Production Guide" from the University of Florida. Any other
good sites to look at would be gratefully received!

AND OF COURSE - one of my greatest sources of reference will be the
Sansevieria discussion group!

The wind has finally stopped - after reached over 200 km an hour over last
weekend, and the rain seems to have abated - at least for a little while.
We have switched from El Nino to Il Nina (I think) - anyway, whatever, we
at the bottom of the world suffer the excesses of weather patterns.

Keep up the good work everyone - this is probably the smallest, most
intimate, and jolliest group around!

Regards
