Re: frosty spears

HI Tom,

Sorry for slow reply..........I've been out of town for twelve days.

I have been gowing 'Frosty Spears' for a couple of years now.  I bought it on
site at Grigsby's before they released it on their Wish List.  As far as I
can tell, it is simply a lighter colored clone of phillipsiae.  It has the
same growth habit and smooth texture, and produces the same, just slightly
aerial, stolons.

Good light is the key to encouraging the pale coloration, and the leaves do
darken with age.  It reproduces easily from leaf cuttings.

Hope this helps!  I'm not sure if the folks as Grigsby's even know what it is.
