To all:
It seems that an innocent joke and a similarly minded answer provoked more
excitement than a Sansevieria question or problem. Ten answers I found this
morning! Never seen such big response in our group.
Jim, I love epees but they are not available in this town. They were
expensive in California, so I always bought baguettes instead (same taste).
In case there is any doubt, I know Jon for quite a few years now and he is
a very fine gentleman.
As far as Sansevierias are concerned they can also be used for
identification. The late Pfennig met me at the train station with a
sansevieria leaf. Len Newton and Paul Mbugua met me at the airport in Kenya
with a leaf and my name respectively. I saw the leaf first.
Ten days ago Paul Hoffman met me at the Pittsburgh airport. He had a big
sign with my name, but before I could ever read it he dropped it: he saw my
bag with sansevieria leaves sticking out!
