Healthy Sprout Award and Kids Garden Photo Contest

Hello All,

Just a reminder that the National Gardening Association (NGA) is currently
offering two programs with a February 28th, 2002 deadline.

The first is the Healthy Sprouts Award. If your school garden program
teaches kids about nutrition and donates some of the harvest, you may be
eligible for this award. NGA and Gardener's Supply Company, sponsors of
this award, will present the 25 winning schools or organizations with
tools, seeds, and garden products. The five top winners will also receive
$500 in cash and $200 gift certificates to Gardener's Supply Company. To
find out more, visit http://www.kidsgardening.com/healthysprouts1.asp

The second: The 2nd Annual Kids Gardening Photo Contest awards garden carts
to top winners in two categories (community/home gardens and school
gardens), with 2nd and 3rd place winners receiving gift certificates to the
Gardening With Kids catalog. We're looking for images of kids discovering
the wonders of plants and gardens. Please visit our Web site for more
information: http://www.kidsgardening.com/special/photo/index.asp

Thank you all for the important work you do with children.

Sincerely,
Barbara
