Attention LIST ADMIN - What the bejibbers is going on this list

I have been a contributing member of this list for a couple of years now,
but  of late I have to wonder what is going on.  I was under the
impression this was the Square Foot Gardening list, which is a specific
methodology of employing intensive gardening practices.   But of late I
have seen a plethora of none square foot gardening topics and
peripherally related topics.  My e-mail box has become inundated with
post that simply are not germane to what I understand to be the
fundamental topic of the list.  Are all of you aware that there a
literally dozens, upon dozens of more loosely defined horticulture
e-mails lists available via the Internet and various list processors?   

I would like to request an administrative "ruling" from the list
administrator related to this posting.
