Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
The testing I was told about was done at Texas A&M, probably in response
to the article in Organic Gardening magazine.(It wasn't done by me)
They did testing at
different ages of the soil that would be affected by the wood and
did not find any signifigant changes whether it was taken at 6 months,
a year, or whenever. One thing my county extension agent did recommend
was not to grow root vegetables near the wood, just in case. I e-mailed
the store that I bought the wood from and a few days later someone from
that store called and explained the situation with the wood. I wish
I could have taped the phone call because he explained alot to me, but
I am not good at remembering the details. Unfortunately, I lost alot of
my e-mail from the county extension agent because my computer crashed.
I'll have to check and see if anything is still in my mailbox on it.
Someone sent a URL on it and I'm sure it was probably one that you sent
on the last message. I'll have to look them up later.
