Since French Tarragon is the ONLY fresh herb my husband will cook
with I've been looking into it. French Tarragon cannot be grown from
seeds and must be taken from cuttings. If you see seeds sold for
tarragon, it is always Russian Tarragon, which isn't all that great
for cooking.
