It is much better to enclose URLs in <> as in:
<<http://www.thepvcstore.com/lawngard.htm>http://www.thepvcstore.com/lawngard.<http://www.thepvcstore.com/lawngard.htm>htm>
Almost every email client will properly keep the entire URL together
(important when it is long and gets broken onto 2 or more lines) and will
properly stop at the closing > so that following punctuation gets left off
the URL when you click, but punctuation inside <> doesn't inadvertently
truncate the URL early.
