I recently checked out from the library a book called "A People's Ecology:
Explorations in Sustainable Living." There's a lot about Native American
traditions and culture, and I came across this quote. It really struck a
chord with me on some level and I wanted to share it in case it had meaning
for anyone else on the list:
"When we eat other people's food, we begin to think and become like them."
...wonder what that means about all the bioengineered food showing up in the
stores?...
