Hi Stormy, > Hey Bob, Thanks for answering that , I also wanted to know. Do you think > Sungold will do ok in 5 gal buckets? I have done my other cherrys for > many years that way. Stormy [Nootka] Hey back at ya! ;-) Yes you could do that, it's a big enough container. Like most of the indeterminate cherry types they're incredibly vigourous and will keep growing until something stops them. So they likely won't get as large as when planted in the ground but you'll still get lots of fruit. You'll probably want to apply some fish/seaweed fertilizer semi-regularly (about every two to three weeks until August anyway) to conpensate for the nutrient leaching containers suffer because of frequent waterings. ____________________ | | | Bob Carter | Kootenay Bay, BC, Canada | bcarter@awinc.com | Zone 6b |____________________| C:\DOS C:\DOS\RUN RUN\DOS\RUN *********************************************************************** To usubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for FAQ and more info. ************************************************************************
