My dear old dad used to wipe his garden tools with a bacon rind, but then I don't suppose that you have butchered a hog recently. Any type of oil will prevent rusting. Vegetable oil would be the most friendly to your soil. Used motor oil is a carcinogen. Contact with the skin should be avoided. oldjohn@juno.com John Orwick El Monte, CA On Sun, 20 Apr 1997 11:59:35 -0600 Karen Grue <kgrue@CONNECT.AB.CA> writes: >All, >I realize this isn't strictly sqft, but I have a question about care >of >garden tools.
