Very sorry I replied to John's letter before seeing his 2nd message that pointed out the distribution. Even the list admin messes up occasionally! Just to add some gardening content - a followup on my previous posting about planting a potato using a plastic container buried within a square. After two days of nasty rainstorms, I can report that three holes, about a quarter-sized each, are apparently NOT enough drainage for a rubbermaid container 2' tall by 1' diameter buried 22" down within a raised bed. I very much fear I am going to have to dig the thing up again to add more drainage holes, maybe even add some to the sides.
