Hi Sophia,

Diatomaceous earth is the fossilized remains of tiny sea creatures. It
works as a physical barrier by scratching the soft bodies of slugs, cabbage
worms,etc. It kills both pests and beneficials. Also if using masks should
be used as human lungs are soft also.
