Where >> does everyone else live, and how do you rate it? I live in northwest Washington state. It is beautiful and we have a very amiable growing season. So far I've just done cold weather crops, but am about to venture into beans, squash, etc. as the weather is starting to warm up. We get a lot of rain here, but not nearly so much as we lead people to believe. =) The rain makes everything green and lush. As I look out my window I am surrounded on three sides by mountains that take your breath away to look at them. A very short drive and I'm at the sound. Our lifestyle in the PNW is laid back, casual, and polite. Some of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet live here. Only in Seattle will you get traffic jams due to everyone slowing because "the mountain is out." Mt. Rainier is one of our most beautiful peaks and on a clear day it simply stuns you to an awesome silence. We love our lattes, hate our slugs, and tolerate our rain...a small price to pay for living in Nirvana. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Yesterday is but a dream TORY and tomorrow only a vision KLEMENTSEN But today, well lived makes every yesterday a dream of enchantment TORY@ESKIMO.COM and every tomorrow a vision of hope. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
