I planted Oregon Spring, which is a determinate, last year. They are
supposed to be early producers. I started them from seed and planted
them out in wall of waters in the latter part of April. Once they
started to produce they produced all year until frost in the fall. They
did not grow very tall, as determinates are not supposed to. However,
they continued to produce even after they stopped growing. In fact they
were still producing blooms in October when the frost hit. This was the
first time I had tried a determinate variety.
