Gardening success stories, humor and disappointments

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

I apologize if I offended anyone. I assure you that my intentions
were honorable.

I have been an organic gardener for the past 20 odd
years. I have used both the square foot and French intensive methods. I also
am a Master Gardener certified through Clemson University Extension Agency. I
just recently discovered this web page within the past two weeks. I have been
monitoring it for the past two weeks. I have had my computer since Christmas.
So it is all still new to me. I am a Cancer
Survivor of 20 months and enjoy being outdoors in the sun in my garden. I
come in contact with other Cancer Survivors, some who can work in their
gardens and some who can only think back to happier days in their gardens as
they look out from their rooms or beds.
							God slowed me down
and gave me a new outlook on what is important in life. He showed me that
through prayer, friends, humor, hope and love I could beat this disease. I
want to share your stories with others that may get a Blessing from them.
They need a smile. A positive attitude is a wonderful thing to have and to
share. It is a real blessing to have a smile on your face even though you
have just gone through a 3 hour Chemo Treatment and you have lost all the
hair on your body and you feel rotten and you know that you still have to go
through Radiation Treatments. Yet someone you don't know comes up to you and
tells you what an inspiration you are to them. that they have been watching
you for months and they have always seen you smiling through it all. Six
weeks after my surgery I returned to full time work and almost every day I
would have folks come up to me with my bald head and smile and tell me what
an inspiration I was to them. God did that, no doubt about it! He gave me the
strength to be a blessing to others through my infirmity.
So please, if the idea of bringing a smile to someone
such as these through your success stories, humor or disappointments is
offensive. Then please don't respond to my request. If I get enough responses
then I will share them with others. A smile is contagious and I will take any
Blessings God gives me any day of the week. I will share those Blessings with
whom ever God directs me to.
	Happy Gardening,
