Re: Neem Oil

It does gum up sprayers. Try adding a couple of drops of dish washing soap
to the spray mix. Also, be meticulous in cleaning your sprayer immediately
after using neem oil. I learned the hard way! Use dish washing soap,
again, for the clean-up. I've seen crop dusters spray neem, and they report
that they have to clean out their tanks immediately, too. It's just the
price you pay for using something that is effective, but doesn't harm the
environment. Nothing good is easy! As far as effectiveness, it's the best
stuff I ever used in a very difficult climate that was hot and humid. The
Antique Rose Emporium in Brenham, TX uses it exclusively for their roses and
perennials. Farmers in the area use it on field crops of soy beans and
cotton. And, cotton is one of the most pesticide, herbicide, fungicide
intensive crops to produce.
