Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I don't like to plant corn in the small garden spaces, but I like Luther
Hill so much, I have been making an exception. An open pollinated variety
of white corn, that makes up to FOUR ears per stalk. Of course, they're
bantam sized, but the corn itself doesn't get over 4 ft tall, and makes
quickly, so it can be in and out long before the other types are ready.
I like the taste of this so much, I tend to just slice it off the cob and
sprinkle it raw in salads.
I see field corn already sprouting up here in Cen Tex, but I haven't put
mine in yet. Maybe this weekend I can do corn and beans and other safe
summer stuff.
martha Zone 8 till April, then it goes zone 9+!!
