RE: zucchini & squash bugs

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

Well, I just lost my first squash to Borers. I got one Zuke off the plant
Friday and on Saturday it was dead. Almost dead. There are some off shoots
on the bottom that I think I may have saved. I keep forgetting (even though
I complain about it almost daily) that the insect season starts early and
stays late in Florida.
