Thank you for the tips! I think I will try keeping the soil moist and putting a
mulch on top. That bed is empty at the moment, but about to be planted, so I
guess the cat thought it was a giant litter box made up just for that purpose.
Harumph!
Also, someone just told me about RO-PEL all-natural cat and dog repellent
granules. I might try those around the outside of the bed. They are supposedly
made of white pepper, peppermint, and thyme.
