Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
<< Please someone answer!!!! I really need to know whether or not I killed
my just planted seeds by accidentally having the heating mat up to high.
The soil temp was 100 for 12 hours or so. Should I chuck them and start
over or do you think that it will still be ok. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Dear Kim,
You should, IMHO, wait and see if the seeds sprout. They should sprout
fairly quickly. If planted in the ground on a hot day, I'm sure the soil
temps get over 100 degrees. Ever try walking on barefoot in the garden when
it's bare soil (OK, *before* you went to raised beds :)? Too hot for your
feet, but I've planted seeds in soil that hot and they were just fine.
Unless you think the soil reached temps above 110 or so, they will
probably be OK. You may want to start some backup seeds just in case.
Hope that helps a little bit :)
