Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

I bought some 36", 1"mesh chicken wire at a local "ain't got it " store. It
comes in 50' (and other length) rolls and is very inexpensive.

I found that a cut off length 6' long has more than enough "roll memory" to
form it's own arch over a 4' wide bed. Two 3' wide pieces will form side by
side arches and cover a 4' long bed with enough left over to push down the
ends either w/ a simple fold (bend wires by folding) or by holding down w/ a
couple of nails on each side.

This will even keep slugs out as they don't seem to want to travel over the
galvanized wire of the mesh.
