Hi Janet
Cavolo nero [ I spelt it wrong in my
email] is also known as Black kale, its a member of the brassica
family. It is a popular vegetable it Italy but we are getting seeds for it
here. It has long crinkly, plume like leaves in a dark green, the young
leaves can be used it stir-fries, the older ones cooked as greens in all sorts
of ways. I had never heard of it until this
spring. |
