Dear Melissa: I was thrilled to discover a list dedicated solely to square foot gardening. Thanks for letting me subscribe. My first post was going to be a mushy hello to everyone, But the dialog I've read so far has unsettled me. It makes me wonder how much valuable experience has just become unavailable to the rest of us due to unsubscribes. I also wonder how many will feel uncomfortable replying to questions because their desired reply might contain too much related yet off-subject information. I expect that very few people SqFt garden because they HAVE to. Surely there is pre-planting information such as bed construction, ground/soil prep, fertilization, etc discussed. Isn't a little post harvest processing info within the same scope? Is there some level of middle ground possible, that will prevent mass unsubscribes, or dampened participation? Sincerely, Darryl Clark *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
