Re: Dark Spot at Bottom of Tomatoes


Hi Bob,

Regarding the wilting of your tomato plants. Several good ideas have 
already been suggested here, but if all else fails check and see if a 
mole has run up under your plants. Stick your finger into the soil as far 
as it will reach at several points around the plants and see if you cann 
find a run. A mole is capable of cutting enough roots as he tunnels along 
to cause plants to wilt. Also the water you apply could be channeled off 
to unknown parts as well.
