For those people on the list that are trying to identify bugs and diseases over the internet, I would like to suggest an additional method that I have found most helpful. Its called the ORTHO PROBLEM SOLVER. Yes its a book published by the Ortho chemical people. But that does not mean you have to use their chemicals. The book has over 1000 pages covering houseplants, lawns, ground covers, annuals, perennials, bulbs, trees, shrubs, vines, vegetables, berries and grapes. The wonderful pictures and descriptions make identifying a problem very easy. This book is usually on display in the lawn and garden sections of stores like Wal-Mart and Home Depo. I liked the thing so much, I purchased one back when it cost 225.00. I believe the cost is more reasonable now. If you are interested in buying one, there should be ordering information on it in the display book. If you cant find it, let me know and I can get it for you.
