Hi, All of my carrots were coming out of the ground stunted and with "knots" on the tips so I decided to leave the rest in the ground longer to see if they would get bigger. Well, I was out picking carrots again and they really haven't grown much even though the greens on top are really lush and bushy. Is there something that I am doing wrong? My soil isn't rock hard yet it isn't super soft either, maybe I didn't water enough? Also, will the carrots get sweeter tasting the longer I leave them in the ground? Thanks again for the help.
