Re: sterilizing my garden

	It's a choice you make, not a law you must follow. If the detriment of the
various diseases is greater than the benefit of the temporary loss of soil
life, then you sterilize. Fortunately, earthworms and soil bacteria are
invasive and love a spot of sterile soil. Add a little compost and you are
back to healthy soil in a little while.
	Of course, for some folk there is an ethical/moral question thrown in to
the decision. I am sure there are even some who feel that bacteria have a
right to live that superceeds our need for a garden and so should be left
alone. Those folk can make choices for their own gardens.
