best edging for raised beds

Hello all,       I recently moved to Texas from east-central Oregon.  I'd 
like to begin preparing raised beds for next spring.  I have sandy loam 
covered with whatever wild grasses that were here in my large, fenced back 
yard.  I'm keeping it mowed now, but would like to be advised what you 
have used as edging for your raised beds.  What non-treated wood and 
dimension are best?
