About 1/3 of my lawn is bermuda. When I mow the clippings all go into the
compost pile. I have never had a problem with it getting into the garden.
I suppose that if the grass were let go to seed before it was mowed, it
could happen. However, it is not that difficult to dig out small
invasions of the grass. It is slow to seed and spreads mainly by runners.
Personally I would not be afraid of it.
