Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Dear List members,
Early this spring I planted some
Jerusalem artichokes in a small
3 1/2 x approx. 3 ft. portion at the
end of one of my raised beds.
They sprouted quickly, and have now
grown to well over 6 ft tall, but as yet
show no signs of flowering. :(
Now I'm wondering if I planted them
too close in my eagerness for sq.ft.
gardening? or do they simply take this
long to bloom? With significantly cooler
weather this week (60's at night) I'm
concerned....and I've never grown
J.Artichokes before, so any insight
at all would be gratefully appreciated!
Chomi
not sure of zone, but 45min. south of D.C.
