Yes, there are purple beans. <g> Yes, they are good to eat. <g>
I grew purple pole beans this year, and they far surpassed my
green pole beans. My purple beans do turn green when they cook.
A big plus for me with the purple beans is they can't hide in the
green leaves for picking. When the turn a nice, dark purple, I know
it's time for picking.
