Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I posted a question last week and didn't get any responses, so I'm going to
be a pesk and ask again!!
We dug about four hills of potatoes and in each hill the seed potato had
turned into this brownish goo. Very disgusting looking. Each plant had
good yield though, with about 2-3 nice-sized taters and several small,
"baby" taters.
Is this normal for the seed potato to turn to mush or is something wrong
with my plants? I thought I remembered digging potatoes with my parents (a
long time ago) and the seed potato being *old* looking, but not a gooey,
slimy thing.
TIA,
Kristine
