Re: Mels Visit

Hi, John! I'm looking forward to seeing the pix of Mel's Seminar! Can you
tell us what his 1998 travel schedule is? I'm not going to miss him the next
time he's in California!!

I'd like to hear opinions regarding planting (pricking out?) seedlings with
protection (Wall'o'Water, etc.) in hopes of an early crop, versus seedlings
planted later at "normal"
times. I experimented last season and found some interesting results. Does
anyone have
any thoughts on this subject?

I would also like to have other SqFt gardener's in Zones 8-9 planting schedules
to peruse.

Thanks, everyone!

Mary
