Re: Garden Planning Software Update

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

AG,

I'm sorry that I missed the beginning of this thread, but I am a
programmer and since I just bought a house I am getting ready to set
up my square foot garden. I usually work with manufacturing software,
which requires scheduling. (I think gardening is a lot like
manufacturing in these respects) I was starting to think of what kind
of software I could write to help me do this stuff and that's why your
thread interests me. I was thinking of writing something that would be
able to present the time lines as a gantt chart, kind of like in MS
Project. It would also be able to suggest the next thing to be planted
in a free square, keep detailed notes on each planting and allow you
to refer to them later, etc, etc.

What other things would people find useful in this type of software?
