and if you use hill/raised row or what.  Pleaseeee.

All of my raised beds are filled with the local dirt guys potting mix.  It
includes turkey manure, sand, composted cedar and ...Each year I add a bag
or two of steer manure and usually mulch the top during the winter.  This
year I have a cover crop of clover on several of the beds.  I still have
carrots, swiss chard, brocolli and onions growing so these will not get a
cover crop.  I do not hill the strawberry plants.  I have not had any
problems, but I grow in a pretty dry area in the summer months and my soil
drains well.
