They are in good potting soil in a cement planter.
Venture a wild guess... it freezes there.
Roots I THINK won't take a FULL freeze, but a BIG planter might not freeze to
the core.
On rarefruit we have considered at some length roots warmed by elec cable,
6w/ft. Tomatoes are known for "root zone warmth" love. Little else we can
discover. y
You could hedge your bet for a short term hard feeze with encasing the pot
with a garbage bag, even the lower half with bubble-wrpa fir packing or even
fiberglass and a garbage bag to keep it dry. I'd still bring a sprig in
anyway.
