Because she is ignorant about computers and I'm a considerate guy I
suppose. The French have a nice language - to them, my mother-in-law is
"ma belle-mere" roughly translated as "my beautiful mother". My sister-in-
law then becomes "ma belle-soeur" and I cannot imagine being rude to this
poor soul who honestly thinks she's saving me from evil <grin>.

It's easy to stomp through life settling things into the condition _I_ think
they should be, and physically, I'm built for just that, but it's a big world and
there's room enough on the bus for all of us. I just moaned about the
endless e-mail hoaxes to share the burden, not to look for a solution. Ma
belle-soeur is one of those who listens attentively to explanations, taking
little breaths at all the pauses and nodding in the right places, then proceeds
to show that she understood not one whit; she's nice, but not bright.

Be well,
