You know the fencing which is suggested to act as tomato towers...?
Maybe 6x6" holes, up to 6 ft wide?

For tall plants up to maybe 3', that can be bent to go over the bed...
Cover w/ net / chickenwire to keep birds out.
If you put plastic in between, you have a greenhouse...
