I use my piggy bedding in my compost pile.  It takes a bit longer to compost
due to the shavings size but have no other problems.  Rabbit pellets I will
use uncomposted on house plants since they will not "burn" plants but most
of the cleanings from under the cages goes into the compost pile also.
