Holly, don't feel that you will be limited as per growing season.
Diversify :) I live in zone 9 and enjoy a year long growing season. How
do I do it? I have a greenhouse, for winter (like we really have winter)
and when the summer sun is ready to bake everything I drop the flaps on
the sun shade thingy my husbsnd made for me.
So don't worry. Learn everything you can about your new home and let the
knowledge work for you.
