>Does anyone have suggestions for covering the ends of a pvc tunnel?
Also how to gain access to the plants inside for routine thinning,
feeding, etc.

Yes. Jeff (go to the library) Ball does.
And I'll read that soon.
I like to figure things out before I read about them so as tnot have tunnel
(no pun intended) vision and keep creative juices flowing.
But in skimming I saw Jeff admits to extra expense there. He buys
more expensive palstic for the ends so he can readily see inside, and enjoys
the view. He has a less expensive alternative. Ron or I or
even you can report it soon.
Here's what I dreampt up. Jeff makes a big deal that this all stores flat.
Actually it even rolls up. But the end I have in mind is only flat in
storage. End hoops are different.
1) You put a hoop end PVC length in place.
2) Mark, scribe, etc, at the top of the bed end, (or lower at the top
of the PVC stanchions IF, the tunnel is beyond the ends of bed a
fraction of an inch... you'll see why the exception.)
3) Cut the Hoop PVC here, both sides/ends, (may be 6" to a foot,
depending on your bed height or stanchion length.
4) A PVC "Tee" goes here, both ends. (Don't glue, tape, and later.)
5) Add a straight piece between these. That is about 4Ft. Remember,
it inserts into the "Tee' an inch or so on both ends. This length is
semi critical. No gluing. Fit must be checked. Some of us can do
this. Many need to see. As Jeff points out. Bed size should be the
same for this reason. All identical widths. Lengths , 8Ft, 12, 16'
are irrelevent.
6) Now take the two pieces that are 6" to 1' that you cut off.
Stick them in the bottom of the Tee. Stick the whole shebang
into an end set of stanchions.
The straight piece should be about 3/8 to 3/4 " above the bed end board,
because the Tee has setbachs inside it. Note: If you have stuch the Tee's on
the PVC tightly and seated it, you may not be able to remove it. These are
tapered and a good fit. Tape later if you want, or disassemble and glue, if
you want. Since the Tee's have this setback and you have a gap now at bed
ends and the end hoops will be now a fraction of an inch taller the center
Tee's, cut that much off.
7) Cover this end with plastic that is kerfed each 3-6" (more closely in
curved sections) and tape, sew by hand, staple, etc.
----------------
Now as to access.
----------------
What if your greenhouse tunnel is too hot!?! Jeff (get the book, LOL, hey,
same thing I heard about Mel when I arrived!!! LOL) uses sections of plastic.
They are cut to go maybe a half to a foot beyonu the hoop[ supports. In
other words, about 5-6 ft. Ends are weighted by 2x2 pieces stapled on as I
recall. (Will reread or... Volunteers here?) This way you can remove one or
slide them back several inches. Make some of plastic, and later, some perhaps
of netting, if you have birds or bunnies.
Result is, a four foot section may be opened at a time.
