Oh Deer (OT)

Last spring  -- the first in our new house -- the local deer chosed down on
the one little daylily as it came up, and I didn't like that one bit.
Having planted even more in the meantime, I bought some Deer Away, and went
out yesterday afternoon and spritzed all those little sprouting daylillies.
I don't know about the deer, but my dogs loved the stuff.  Licked it right
off.  :-(

(Deer Away isn't for food crops, btw.)
