Ask if they have big bags.  Around here a gallon bag of vermiculite
was $4-5 dollars.  But a 20 Gallon bag was $14ish.  Might have
actually been larger I would need to look again.  The guys at the
front desk at the garden center said the little bags were all they
carried.  But the all knowing old timer took me to the back room
where they rebag the stuff and let me have my pick.  

After I amended my beds with vermiculite the "left overs" have
