Actually, Yahoo groups just recently merged with eGroups/onelist.  There is no logging onto a site involved.  This list would be hosted for free and, as Charlie mentioned, you'd have the option of receiving individual emails, a daily digest, reading the messages on the website only, or selecting the "no mail" option for when you go out of town and don't want to flood your email box but don't want to un-sub from the list either.  I just joined this list and I'm already inundated with individual emails that I can't keep up with.  Whattaya say, host "leader"?  Would you consider switching to http://groups.yahoo.com/  ?

I'd much rather use Yahoo clubs for a message board.  There is a square foot
gardening club already there, but not much talk.  I think people like these
lists since they never have to log on to a site.
