Dear first timer.

I have done 2'by4ft planters, my dear at the time brand new husband made
them for me. We used the recipe for soil and had a pretty good garden. We
did planters because we were renting and I thought we could take them with
us. Well for the first move we did, but they were extremely HEAVY. Those
beautiful planters with PERFECT soil now sit in a field in colorado, and we
now reside in Idaho. IF YOU PLAN ON MOVING THEM WITH THE SOIL I RECOMMEND
2'BY2'
OR 1'BY4'. Also found the deeper the better. Our containers were fast to
dry out .Hope this helps
